Yes, Kawasaki have trademarked the name ‘Ninja R2’. What does this mean? We’ll its anyone’s guess at this stage, but it does sound exciting. I don’t imagine a delivery bike or scooter being called a Ninja R2, so expect the Ninja stable to receive some more horsepower, as if it didn’t have enough already, sheesh. Having just released the supercharged H2 and H2R, the engineers at Kawasaki have had their hands full. But lets not forget that with the recent introduction of the R1 and S1000RR featuring more motherboards than Bill Gate’s could ever fantasize about, the current ZX10R could be falling behind soon. So will the Ninja R2 replace the ZX10R or will it be a smaller capacity race inspired machine?
